Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-10-05

These are the rules for using Evening Pages. We wrote them in plain words on purpose. If something is unclear, write to us at hello@eveningpages.app.

Who we are

Evening Pages is run by Saiful Islam, a sole proprietor based in Bangladesh. Contact: hello@eveningpages.app. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Saiful Islam, doing business as Evening Pages.

Who can use Evening Pages

You must be 18 or older. If you are under 18, please don't create an account. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will close it.

You need an account to write, comment or follow. You can read pages that writers have shared publicly without one. Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

Your pages

Your pages belong to you. We don't claim ownership of anything you write or the photos you add.

Each page is private or shared. A private page is only for you. A page you share is shown to other people, with your username and avatar next to it. Some shared pages also have a public web link that anyone can open without an account, and search engines can find those pages.

When you share a page, you give us permission to store it, show it and deliver it to readers in the app and on the web, and to make link previews of it. This permission is only so we can run Evening Pages. It ends when you unshare the page or delete your account. Things that were already copied or shared outside our control, such as a screenshot, can't be taken back.

You promise that you wrote what you share, or have the right to share it, and that it follows the Community rules. Please don't post other people's private details.

Staying anonymous

You don't need to use your real name. Your username and avatar are all other people see. Your email address is only used to sign you in and to reach you about your account. It is never shown to others. What you write in a page is up to you, so think about what you share. We can't make a page anonymous if it names you.

Safety and moderation

Evening Pages has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive people. Please read the Community rules.

You can ask us to review a decision by writing to hello@eveningpages.app.

Evening Plus

Evening Plus is our optional paid plan. It adds more photos per page, more papers, handwriting fonts and stickers, more notebooks, streak freezes, writing stats and sharing more pages a day. The free version stays free. There is no free trial.

Prices at the time of writing: $5.99 a month, $29.99 a year, or $79.99 once for lifetime. Prices in your country and currency are shown in the app before you buy.

Using Evening Pages fairly

Please don't try to break the app, scrape it, copy people's pages in bulk, send spam, pretend to be someone else, run bots or fake accounts, or get around limits and safety checks.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile and all of your pages, photos, comments and follows from our systems. You can export your pages first from Settings.

We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or the Community rules, or that puts others at risk. For serious or repeated breaks, we do not have to give a warning first.

No promises about uptime

We work hard to keep Evening Pages running and kind, but it comes "as is". We can't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that any particular number of people will read a page. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using Evening Pages, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be waived.

Evening Pages is a diary and a community. It is not therapy or medical advice, and it is not for emergencies.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before they apply. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.

Law

These terms follow the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute that we can't sort out by talking goes to the courts of Bangladesh. If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away any rights you have under the mandatory laws where you live.
